Around the bend –
The markets are closed by the time I get back to Roseau, Dominica and I have got myself a little lost trying to find the delicious Dominican grapefruits that taste so wonderful when freshly picked, ripe and sweet, on the island.
The tiny stores that are still open don’t sell them and I have given up, only to realise I have no idea where I am!
A cheerful motherly shaped person comes towards me. Her bright floral dress going well with her smile. Instead of merely telling me the way she insists on coming with me, her English is very good as she is occasionally a tour guide.
